When the fire commander arrived at the scene, the open fire had been extinguished, and some of the items in the living room of the residential house that started the fire were burned, but fortunately there were no casualties.
At the scene, rescuers found a young man, gray-headed and exhausted, breathless. He happened to pass by, enthusiastically helping Liu Huju, who rescued the family of six who had caught fire and helped extinguish the fire.
At that time, I saw black smoke coming out of the door, and I quickly knocked the door. Worried that the people inside had passed out and were unaware of the fire, there was no way but to kick the door hard, and it took two or three minutes to wake up. Liu Huju is 24 years old and from Yiyang, Hunan. At the time of the incident, the owner of the fire house, Mr. Liu's family of six, was already asleep, "vaguely heard the movement of kicking the door outside the house, woke up to find that there was a fire in the house, and the whole person was ignorant at that time." Mr. Liu said.
Calmly coped and successfully rescued a family of six
Seeing the door open, Liu Huju did not leave, and loudly instructed Mr. Liu, who was dazed and panicked, to cut off the electric gate immediately and save himself to extinguish the fire at the first time. Subsequently, he rushed back to his home, filled the fire with water with buckets, washbasins and other tools, and quickly found a fire extinguisher in the corridor, and finally controlled the open flame with 6.7 fire extinguishers.
"At that time, I only wanted to go all out to extinguish the fire, and as for my girlfriend, I called to explain the reason, and she also expressed her support." Liu Huju told reporters that he had previously participated in fire training courses in the school, had a certain understanding of fire safety hazards and self-help, and could calmly and orderly respond in the face of sudden fires.
Due to the correct disposal and timely fire fighting, the open fire was controlled after 10 minutes, and the fire rescue personnel also quickly rushed to the scene to check the fire hazards.
