Norimatsu Suzuki, his wife Tomoe, and his son Kazuhira run an automobile repair workshop, where they also work for rokuko, who has grown up from the countryside to Tokyo. Rokuko was full of hope that she could work for a large company in Tokyo, but she was discouraged by the fact that the factory environment and expectations were very different. On the other hand, Ryunosuke Chagawa, the owner of the confectionery shop who is at odds with Norbun, has always had a crush on Hiromi, who works at an izakaya, while Hiromi lives with Junnosuke, the child left behind by her ex-boyfriend. One day, Chagawa suddenly has to take care of Junnosuke's job, what will happen to their wonderful cohabitation life? What changes will Rokuko bring to the Suzuki family? What will the future hold for the residents of Sanchome in Yuricho?
