Experts believe that how to meet the "needs of the tip of the tongue" of the public, which requires aquatic experts to develop new varieties of river fish, and breeding enterprises to promote the breeding of new varieties. After years of research, experts from the Fisheries Institute of Wuhan Academy of Agricultural Sciences have hybridized with the Yangtze River fish black-tailed near-red bass and the Danjiangkou Reservoir's warped-billed carp, and developed the "Pioneer No. 1", commonly known as "Great White Diao", inheriting the excellent taste and nutrition of the black-tailed near-red carp, integrating the growth advantages of the black-tailed carp, strong disease resistance, so that high-grade fish become "cheap fish". Since then, experts have developed "Pioneer 2" using a hybrid of black-tailed near-red bream and tuantou bream. Chinese cooking master Lu Yongliang tasted these two kinds of fish and commented that the muscles are elastic and taste better than the "Wuchang fish".
Experts believe that the timely promotion of ecological and healthy breeding, to ensure that the transformation of fishery production in place, so that the people of Jiangcheng can eat more delicious live fish.
