Good Neighbor "Sincerity" pioneer volunteers comforted 5 empty nest elderly people, sent fresh vegetables to the elderly, and instructed them to contact the community in time if they have daily needs, and volunteers will help at any time. Some of these empty nesters have inconvenient legs and feet, some are paralyzed in bed, and some of their children are not around. Volunteers delivered free fresh vegetables to their homes, saving the elderly the trouble of going out on snowy days and warming the heart community of empty nesters.
Li Jiaoyu, who lives at No. 43 Leek Garden Road, is old, her wife has passed away, her son is working in the field, Li Jiaoyu is not willing to trouble her son, and she tries to complete many things by herself. Dai Xinchao, the community secretary of Dongguangjiqiao Community, came forward to inquire and patiently did ideological work with him. "It's very cold on a snowy day, do you want to send you to the aid station, you can live in it with confidence." But no matter how persuaded, the man was still unwilling to go back to the aid station to receive help, so everyone had to tell him to pay attention to keeping warm, and sent him instant noodles, bread and hot water, quilts and other cold materials to let him have a warm "nest".
