The modern and contemporary art night show will present 119 works, and Zao Wou-ki's "04.01.79" is particularly eye-catching. In the painting, he continues the blank space of the Song and Yuan landscapes, and injects the brush and ink and artistic conception of Chinese literati painting. According to the auction house, the work was made in the 1970s and is the largest single-scale work of Zao Wou-Ki, and its current valuation is pending. In the ancient calligraphy and painting section, Wang Shimin's "Imitation of Huang Gongwang Landscape Axis" is a masterpiece. The inscription on this lot brings together four important figures, including Dong Qichang, Bordu, Wang Yuan, and Wang Fei, which shows the weight of the painting. Another piece, "Shallow Landscape And Landscape Scrolls for Erhe and LayMen", is also a heavyweight lot, which was composed in 1670 by one of the "Four Monks" in the early Qing Dynasty, and is an important work of his later years.
In addition, Stuart's diary manuscript from 1945 to 1949, the passport of the ambassador to China, the handwritten manuscript of the YMCA speech and letters and other related documents will appear together, restoring Stuart's life course, multiple identities and complex positions. The preview will last until November 27, the auction preview will be from November 28 to December 3, the auction will be held from December 2 to 4, the exhibition venue is at the Four Seasons Hotel.
