Zhang Boxing (1651-1725) was a native of Yifeng (present-day Lankao), Henan. During the Kangxi dynasty of the Qing Dynasty, there was a well-known Qing official, who was Zhang Boxing. In the forty-second year of the Kangxi Dynasty, Zhang Boxing was appointed to Jining Province, Shandong, at a time when the people were displaced by famine. He had food from his home to help the victims, and he donated several boats of money to distribute to the people. Immediately after arriving in office, he opened a warehouse to help the people tide over the difficulties.
