Chen Liying is a "new farmer" who only took over the farm last December, and 80 acres of cherries are new varieties. This cherry is an agate red cherry, which is sweet, colorful, thick in skin and resistant to transportation. This year, cherries ushered in a bumper harvest, initially estimated, the output of more than 100,000 catties.
Recently, as the weather warms up, the cherries have gradually matured. Of Chen Liying's 80 acres of cherries, seventy or eighty percent are fully ripe. Chen Liying said that even if 15 yuan per hour is offered, 3 meals are managed, the salary is closed every day, and the conditions for package transportation are still not enough workers. Due to the lack of labor, ripe cherries cannot be picked and packaged in full, which directly leads to mass sales.
In terms of price, since the cherry belongs to a new variety in Xichang, at present, the price of cherries is 25-40 yuan per catty, which is slightly more expensive than local cherries overall.
