About the Author:
Dai Shulun, born circa 732 AD, died circa 789 AD, was a Tang Dynasty poet, a native of Jintan District, Runzhou (present-day Jintan District, Changzhou, Jiangsu Province). When he was young, he was a teacher of Xiao Yingshi. He served as the envoy of Xincheng Ling, Dongyang Ling, Fuzhou Assassin History, and Rongguan Jingjing. In his later years, he asked himself to be a Taoist monk. His poems mostly express the reclusive life and leisurely mood, but the articles such as "Female Cultivators in the Fields" and "Tun Tian Ci" also reflect the hardships of people's lives. The poem advocates that "the scenery of the poet, such as the blue field and the warmth of the sun, the good jade and the smoke, can not be expected to be placed before the eyebrows." His poetry genre is all covered. The two volumes of the poems that exist today are mostly mixed with the works of the Song And Yuan Ming people, and it is necessary to carefully distinguish the falsifications.
