Aphrodisiac Emperor Tang Xuanzong Li Chen, a "nerd" counterattack road

author:Elegant and cheesy

Li Chen of Tang Xuanzong, whose original name was Li Yi, was the sixteenth emperor of the Tang Dynasty, and was the thirteenth son of Li Chun of Tang Xianzong, and although he was the son of Emperor Xianzong, he was given the title of King of Guang, but he was a shu. His mother, Empress Xiaoming (Empress Xiaoming), was originally a concubine of Li Kai (李锜), the envoy of Zhenhai Jiedushi, and after Li Kai's plot failed, Zheng entered the palace as a maid of Guo Guifei, and was later given birth to Li Yi by Emperor Xianzong of Tang. Although Li Chen was a prince, his status was extremely low, and he did not have any power, and the throne could not be turned on his head at all. His mother was well aware of the dangers in the palace, and often taught him not to have any undivided thoughts, and it was enough to spend this life in peace.

Once, Li Chen went into the palace with his brothers to ask the empress dowager for peace, but unexpectedly encountered an assassination, and the assassin was hacked to death by a knife. Li Chen saw such a terrible scene for the first time, and he was frightened like a wooden chicken. The struggle for power in the imperial court made him more aware that only by having no quarrel with the world could he survive in the palace. Since then, he has been silent and so stupid that everyone thinks he is scared silly.

After Tang Xianzong's death, there were also Muzong, Jingzong, Wenzong, and Wuzong in the middle. Among them, Muzong was Li Chen's older brother, and Jingzong, Wenzong, and Wuzong were all Nephews of Li Chen. In these long years, Li Chen has always been a good material for people to make fun of, and he is everyone's laughing stock

After his nephew Tang Wenzong succeeded to the throne, he liked to tease this uncle, and every time he drank and had fun, he called Li Chen, and Li Chen had to participate hard. But Li Chen always looked at everyone woodenly, occasionally smirking. Tang Wenzong became more and more interested: "Who can make Uncle Guang open his mouth and reward him again!" "Everyone came to work hard, taking turns to use all their skills, Li Chen still looked at the crowd with innocent eyes and smiled silly." The image of "fool" made everyone laugh.

Although Li Chen has always been a "fool" in front of people, he is still seen by a person, who is his other nephew Li Yan of Tang Wuzong. Tang Wuzong always thought that his uncle was a bit stupid, and later Li Yan ascended the throne, known as Tang Wuzong, in order to keep his throne, he immediately attacked Li Chen and secretly created an accident. For example, playing together, Li Chen inexplicably fell into the water and ascended together, Li Chen fell for no reason, fortunately, they were all skin trauma, and there was no danger. One day, when heavy snow was falling, Tang Wuzong led the princes to hunt. When people were hissing, no one noticed that Li Chen "accidentally" fell from the horse and fainted in the ice and snow. The next day, Tang Wuzong, who was waiting to collect Li Chen's body, actually saw Li Chen limping again. Tang Wuzong was so angry that he gritted his teeth and simply did not stop doing anything, and he asked the eunuch Qiu Gongwu to lead people to tie Up Li Chen's five flowers and throw them into the pit in the harem. But Qiu Gongwu moved his own careful thoughts, Li Chen is a fool, and Wuzong's health has always been bad, and when Emperor Wuzong kicks his legs, it is better to support this "fool" to ascend the throne, then the power of the government will be in his own hands. Saying that he would do it, Qiu Gongwu sent Li Chen to an angu Temple in Haiyan, Zhejiang Province, to become a small monk, and named him Qiongjun.

In 845, as expected, Emperor Wuzong of Tang was critically ill, and he did not appoint a crown prince at that time, so Qiu Gongwu and the eunuchs supported Li Chen as emperor. Since then, Li Chen has changed his name from the original Li Yi to Li Chen, and he ascended the throne as emperor for Tang Xuanzong. After Li Chen ascended the throne, he completely dumbfounded Qiu Gongwu and others; as soon as he took office, he did three major things, the first of which was to take down Li Deyu, the prime minister who was in league with the eunuchs, and to purge the qing dynasty; the second was to sweep up the inner court and clean up the eunuchs, and in the face of the eunuch clique that was flying in the past, Li Chen's approach could be described as exterminating, preferring to kill a thousand by mistake, never sparing one, and after a rectification, the eunuchs were all in danger and did not dare to make a mistake. The third is to rectify the military and send troops to recover the land of Hehuang. In addition, Li Chen also vigorously implemented a series of policies to weaken the power of the feudal towns, strengthen the centralization of power, lightly favor the people's livelihood, encourage production, under his governance, datang even had a hidden situation of ZTE, so he was also known as "Little Taizong".

Tang Xuanzong was a very greedy and absurd emperor, with 23 children, thousands of beautiful women also gathered in the harem, in order to enjoy the "sexual bliss" life, Tang Xuanzong did not hesitate to take secret medicine, indulged in bed, and even after the year of confusion, he was still happy and persevering, becoming a famous "aphrodisiac emperor" in Chinese history. The aphrodisiac brought pleasure to Tang Xuanzong and also brought him pain. In order to be able to live forever, Tang Xuanzong summoned the Daoist priest Xuanyuanji to Beijing for questioning in the first month of the twelfth year of The Great Middle School (858), and the answer he got was to end the joy of sound and color, but Tang Xuanzong did not care. In the first month of the following year (859), Tang Xuanzong, who had been tortured by beauty and aphrodisiacs, seemed to have woken up and announced that he would "release the palace people" again, but it was too late. In August of the same year, Emperor Xuanzong of Tang, who was later known as "Little Taizong", was "gangrened on his back" because of the abuse of aphrodisiacs, and finally died.

Li Chen had been emperor for less than 13 years, but he died of overdose of the elixir at the age of nearly fifty. After him, the Tang Dynasty completely degenerated, and 52 years after the death of Tang Xuanzong Li Chen, the Tang Dynasty collapsed.
