The new Princess Diana and Prince Charles are coming.
British actor Dominique West and 30-year-old Australian actress Elizabeth Debizi are about to star in the fifth season of the hit British drama as Prince Charles and Princess Diana.
They will take over josh O'Connor, 31, and Emma Colin, 25, to play the troubled couple in season four (O'Connor also played Charles in season three), both of whom were Nominated for Emmys and Golden Globes.
In the fifth season, 65-year-old Ameda Staunton will take over the role of Queen Elizabeth.
Claire Foy, 37, played the youngest queen in seasons 1-2, while Olivia Colman, 47, played her middle-aged in seasons 3-4.
Meanwhile, 74-year-old "Game of Thrones" actor Jonathan Price will take over the role of Prince Philip in seasons three and four, played by "Game of Thrones" actor, 38-year-old Matt Smith in his youth, and "Outlander" actor, 47-year-old Tobias Mankis.
Johnny Lee Miller, 48, will also join the cast as British Prime Minister John Major, whose tenure coincides with the tragic death of Princess Diana in 1997.
Season Four tells the story of 1979 to 1990, when the Queen forbade Charles and Diana to divorce.
The photo also confirms that West did play the older version of Prince Charles, as the news was widely reported, but Netflix has yet to officially announce it.
West has starred in Showtime's TV series "Extramarital Affair", and there is also a bizarre scandal in real life, he may have an affair with Lily James, so he is the perfect choice to play Prince Charles.
For DeBecchi, she is no stranger to glamorous looks and age outfits, as she has worked with Barz Ruhrman in The Marvelous Gatsby and played against Tom Hiddleston in Night Manager.
The Crown will end in season six, excluding the time of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Producer Peter Morgan told The Hollywood Reporter last summer:
"I have a 20-year rule in my head. We have enough time and distance to really understand something. ”
The fifth season will premiere on Netflix in 2022, when it has yet to be announced.
