"Special Recommendation" Chen Lei played Bach's Sonata No. 2 in A minor

Ray Chen is a violinist who is a 21st century classical musician. He has performed with the London Philharmonic, the Staatska symphony orchestra, Leipzig Gewandhausorchester, the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, the Filarmonica della Scala, the Nazionale della Santa Cecilia, the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, and subsequent premieres included the SWR Symphony, the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Bavarian Radio Chamber Orchestra. He has collaborated with conductors such as Riccardo Chailly, Vladimir Jurowski, Sakari Oramo, Manfred Honeck, Daniele Gatti, Kirill Petrenko, Krystof Urbanski, Juraj Valcuha and others.

Born in Taiwan and raised in Australia, Ray was admitted to curtiss College of Music at the age of 15, where he studied with Aaron Rosand and was supported by young concert artists.
