I was influenced by my father as an actor
In childhood memories, my father was the absolute center of the family, and the things of the theater and the performance were the most important. As long as my father had a play at night, no one could speak loudly in the afternoon. My father didn't eat before acting, so I used to take my lunch box to the theater to deliver food to my father. In the long corridor leading to the stage of the powder room, there is a dark corridor, which is not allowed to enter children. I used to stand at this mysterious crossing waiting for my father, and I knew that at the end of it was a brilliant stage full of lights.
Even as a child, I could faintly feel that my father was a respected man in the theater. When he speaks, everyone will listen with their ears open, even on occasions when some relatives are gathering, everyone is willing to listen to him talk about acting.
My father spent a lot of time on desks in his life, going to the mall and other trivial matters, he was not interested. His pursuit of culture subtly influenced me. I was able to become an actor, first of all, because of my father's decisive influence on me.
Never forced me to learn anything
Because of my leg disease, I could feel that my parents were sorry for me. It seems hopeless for me to be an actor, my father hopes that I can master some other artistic specialties, my father is a national art college Chinese painting, and later to the student theater troupe to participate in the revolution, only to act in drama, but painting is still his lifelong hobby. When he went to visit his teacher, he would take me with him. In order for me to learn to paint, my father also hired a special teacher. The hope in my heart will create conditions for me, but it is not like some parents now, who ignore their children's likes and dislikes, and force their children to go to the black according to their own wishes. As long as I liked something, my father saw a sign and helped me find a teacher. I learned to play allegro, and it was he who led me to the theater and learned it with Teacher Li Guangfu. He taught me how to be human
In July 1969, I left home and went to the Heilongjiang Production and Construction Corps, when our family of five was in four places.

Recently, Lishui County, our hometown in Jiangsu Province, invited us to participate in the plum blossom festival over there. My father wrote a long letter explaining why he couldn't attend; and I wrote a sentence: Because I was busy, I couldn't attend. My father was an extremely serious man, and he criticized me, thinking that I was sloppy and unreasonable about other people's affairs. My father went to private school from an early age and was full of economy, while I only graduated from high school, and my cultural level was far from that of my father. I know that the improvement of cultural knowledge is a lifelong effort, but it is impossible for me to catch up with my father in cultural cultivation.
I want to play Lu Xun all my life
My father used to think that he could play Lu Xun, and the structure of his face, eyebrows, and especially eye bubbles were very similar. We have known each other for 74 years from 1942 to the present. From a young age in the same school, later acting also in the same troupe, the same year to the Liberated Areas. Later, in the same literary troupe, before and after the founding of the People's Republic of China, we transferred to the Central Academy of Drama Drama Troupe, and in 1952, the Renyi Academy was established, and we entered the Renyi together. We can't be consistent in everything, and sometimes we have different opinions on various issues, but we don't have any disagreements and right and wrong between us, and our hearts are very open.
He was sick and we didn't see each other very often. And every time he was discharged from the hospital, his wife was also tired. I said how do you guys do this, I'm anxious about it. His nanny was all found for him by me, and this morning the nanny got up at night and found that he was wrong.
He is not only an actor and director, but also engaged in teaching, and the teaching of human art is all considered by him there. When the young actor is going to break the file, it is time to run a class again, he advocates and hosts. In 1981, he also felt that it was time to run a class, and pulled me along to teach acting.
