The film was directed by Gao Huanggang, starring Xia Wang, Zhang Yingbing, Maize Ti, etc., and also invited Singers such as Huang Qishan, Tusken Tabis Khan, Alai Aydar Khan, Cui Zige, Ju Hongchuan and so on.

The film started in May 2019, and the crew traveled all the way south from Tacheng in the northwest corner of Xinjiang, spanning seven prefectures and traveling more than 10,000 kilometers, and finally arrived at the Pamir Plateau. The crew overcame many difficulties such as the rainy season of the grassland, the drought in the Gobi, and the lack of oxygen in the mountains, and finally filmed the climax of the film under the ice peak of Muztag at an altitude of more than 4,000 meters.
Gao Huanggang said: "We have designed a narrative line that is interspersed back and forth in two time and space: one is the pursuit of artistic ideals by Jiang Han and three other young people in reality, and the other is the selfless dedication of Teacher Jiang Han and his lover to guard the border. These two threads intersect and intersect at the end, not only to clarify the dedication of the older generation and the influence of the protagonist, but also to express the inheritance of dedication through Jiang Han's roots of art in Xinjiang. ”
