Motivation
At present, in the universal residential community space, there are too many children's playgrounds growing in the cement world. How to respect the natural growth of children? How can children play safely in a natural environment? How to make both older children and small children feel cared for? Based on these thoughts, Linde Design and Vanke cooperated in research and development, focusing on the proposition of "designing for the pursuit of nature", hoping to create a different beginning.

Different from ordinary projects, the children's natural module design of Vanke Jianyan Center is more based on different design techniques and materials, landing in the same site, and observing the children's use of the facility to observe and study the function of the module. For example, the same bunker function, we use the general bunker yellow sand, white sand, black pebbles, wood chips, fine gravel five kinds of materials for experiments; and in the drill barrel module, for climbing, crossing, hiding and other space needs, we designed several "slopes" with similar volumes and slightly different gameplay. Through local observation, there is a deeper understanding of children's preferences.
In the venue, children are not pure venue users, but experimental participants who better help designers understand children's play needs – part of the design of natural play venues.
