The latest theatrical version of "City Hunter" animation production decision is released in the spring of 2019

Aniplex has announced the decision to animate the latest theatrical version of the classic Japanese anime City Hunter, which will be released in the spring of 2019. Originally an anime adaptation of Hojoji's classic manga in the 1980s, City Hunter is primarily about the adventures of the "City Hunter" Tsubasa (冴羽リョウ) and his friends, a private detective, an underground scavenger, and a personal bodyguard, and the new game will also be set in the story of modern Shinjuku.

The new work will be produced by Sunrise Corporation, and the director will still be the "City Hunter" TV animation and the 1989 theatrical version of the director こだままま, the voice actor will follow the voice cast of the TV anime version, and the voice actor of Akira Kazumi Kamiya and kazuka Tsukimura will be Ichigo Izumi.
