Luoyang opera culture is profound, as one of the earliest cities in the province to carry out opera education and training, it has cultivated a large number of opera masters for decades, and opera masterpieces have continued to emerge, and the opera industry has flourished and has a long history. Mr. Ma Jinfeng is a yu opera master and a tenured professor at Luoyang Vocational and Technical College. The opening of the Ma Jinfeng Opera Art Museum and the inauguration of the Li Shujian Xiqu Art Heritage Center will play an important role in cultivating more opera art talents.
It is reported that the holding of this seminar on the inheritance and innovation of opera education aims to guide teachers and students to strengthen cultural self-confidence, carry forward the fine traditions, adhere to the principle of integrity and innovation, explore the true meaning of art in teaching and learning, forge ahead from the original intention of art in serving the people, inherit and promote the art of opera, and make new and greater contributions to inheriting China's excellent traditional culture. Ma Jinfeng Xiqu Art Museum is located on the second floor of the School of Xiqu Art of Luoyang Vocational and Technical College, and will be prepared for construction in 2019, with a total construction area of 400 square meters. The museum is divided into four parts: "Quest for the Sea of Art, The People as the Root", "Treasures of pear garden, Ma Pai art", "Salary broadcast art, fragrant garden", "Yu opera Taidou, Han Mo Liufang", which comprehensively displays Mr. Ma Jinfeng's artistic life. In April 2019, Luoyang Vocational and Technical College hired Mr. Ma Jinfeng as a "tenured professor"; in September of the same year, the "Ma Jinfeng Stage Art Research Center", a key humanities and social science base in Luoyang, was inaugurated in Luoyang Vocational and Technical College, and the "Ma Pai Art Inheritor Class" was opened, contributing to the promotion of yu opera "Ma Pai" art and the prosperity of Chinese opera.
The establishment of Li Shujian Xiqu Art Heritage Center in the Xiqu College of Luoyang Vocational and Technical College will provide a good platform and carrier for promoting the prosperity and development of xiqu art in the college, cultivating high-level talents in xiqu art, and enhancing the scientific research strength of related disciplines. After the establishment of the center, it will give full play to the resources of famous artists in the country and the province, cooperate with major TV opera columns and Internet opera platforms across the country, and devote itself to the cultivation of opera talents and the inheritance, development, dissemination and promotion of opera art.
On behalf of her mother and family, Ma Fanpu, Ma Jinfeng's daughter, expressed her gratitude to the leaders and guests who cared for and supported the cause of Yu opera, and hoped that the Ma Jinfeng Museum would play an active role in the prosperity and development of Chinese opera.
