Mr. Li said he went to Beijing on January 23 and immediately went into rehearsals. In order to ensure this nearly one-minute stage presentation, Li Shujian put in a hard rehearsal. During the rehearsal, any actor cannot leave Beijing, either in the rehearsal venue or in the station, all the actors live a two-point and one-line life, and cannot go out privately. ”
Li Shujian said that for a minute on the stage, he, like all actors, rehearsed for 20 days from January 23 to february 11 Chinese New Year's Eve night before the official performance.
Specific to the Yu opera "Dadeng Temple" sung this time, Li Shujian also revealed a small detail: there is a sentence in the lyrics: "I saw the old mother kneeling in the Golden Temple, folding the child's Yangshou for more than ten years", which was revised to "I saw the old mother go to the Golden Palace and reunited for more than ten years for a long time", and the number of words modified was only three words, mainly to highlight the atmosphere of celebration and reunion.
On the stage of the Spring Festival Gala, in addition to Li Shujian, another Yu opera performance artist who appeared was Jin Buchang, president of the Hebi Yu Opera Niupai Art Research Institute.
In fact, Jin Buchang is also a regular visitor to the Spring Festival Gala of the Central Radio and Television Corporation. Previously, in 2018 and 2019, he appeared on this stage for two consecutive years, interpreting the charm of Yu opera.
