Recently, the "Lightning Action - Anti-Fraud FastEr Step" financial security knowledge lecture hosted by The Federation of Overseas Chinese of Huafu Street and undertaken by the Huafu Street Elderly Service Center was successfully held at the Tian Mian Community Friendship Base, with more than 30 Hong Kong elders living in Futian participating.
The event invited Liu Muxin, Shenzhen Branch of China Pacific Life Insurance Co., Ltd., to explain to the residents present the situation of the main defrauded objects, the low recovery rate of fraudulent funds, the typical forms of financial fraud and how to prevent financial fraud.
After the lecture, the elderly actively participated in the knowledge quiz interaction to further master the knowledge they learned, and the atmosphere of the on-site activities was warm. Mask kits were also distributed to the elderly, reminding them to remember financial safety and take personal protection during the pandemic.
This lecture raised the awareness of self-protection and risk prevention among hong Kong elders living in Futian, promoted communication between them, and helped to further promote the creation of harmony and create a stable social environment.
