Mr. Li from Hezhou, Guangxi, was diagnosed with liver cancer on October 21, liver transplantation is the best and final treatment, after being transferred to the Guangxi Autonomous Region People's Hospital, the family also tried a close relative match but none of them were successful, and the situation is already very critical.

Fortunately, Mr. Li and his family soon waited for the right liver source, creating the most important objective conditions for liver transplantation. Like Mr. Li, there are 5 other patients who have ushered in the hope of life. On November 8, with the full cooperation of more than 70 medical staff from the Transplant Department, Cardiothoracic And Vascular Surgery, Ophthalmology, Anesthesiology, Critical Care Medicine and other departments of Guangxi Autonomous Region People's Hospital, it took nearly 20 hours to successfully complete six transplants of the same donor, including 1 lung transplant, 1 liver transplant, 2 kidney transplants and 2 cornea transplants.

The 6 transplant donor organs are all from a middle-aged man in Chongzuo, Guangxi, who suffered from sudden brainstem hemorrhage and brain death, and the family expressed the idea of donating usable organs to the organ donation coordinator in great grief, agreeing to donate the patient's lungs, liver, kidneys, and a pair of corneas.

After receiving liver transplantation, Mr. Li is now gradually recovering from various indicators of liver function and has been able to get out of bed and move. In addition, it is understood that the other 2 patients who received kidney transplantation have suffered from uremia for many years, and they also need to receive dialysis treatment regularly, and their physical condition and daily life have been greatly affected, and a long wait has finally waited for the right kidney source. They are also grateful to the donors.

In addition, the patients who received lung transplant surgery have also regained consciousness, and the two patients who received corneal transplants have also recovered well. So far, this transplant operation has successfully revived 6 patients.

According to Lai Yanhua, director of the transplant department, 6 transplants are carried out at the same time, including 4 large organ transplants, which are very rare in Guangxi, not only the quality requirements of the donor are very high, the complexity and fineness of the operation put forward a higher pursuit for the cooperation of the transplant team and multiple departments, which requires the perfect cooperation and seamless connection of the entire team to shorten the time of organ preservation as much as possible, thereby improving the success rate after transplantation.

A sincere life will be continued in 6 people. Dr. Yang Jianrong introduced that at present, organ transplantation is still the only treatment method for many human organ terminal diseases. In recent years, with the popularization of the concept of organ donation, the public has gradually realized that for patients who have unfortunately passed away, their lives may continue to exist and bloom in the world in another way.
