Wen Duan Honggang
The famous female poet Xue Tao of the Tang Dynasty (768-832) was one of the few talented women in Chinese history and left many good stories for literary history.
The wealth she left to future generations, in addition to the more than 90 poems included in the "Jinjiang Collection", there is also "Wangjiang Lou", and a pair of broken couplets in Wangjiang Lou, which is called the absolute of eternity, only the upper link and no lower link, more than 1200 years have passed, and still no one can match the lower link, still explaining to the world what is the beauty of the crippled.
Wangjiang Tower is located outside the East Gate of Chengdu City, was built in the fifteenth year of guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1889), built in honor of Xue Tao, the entire building complex is hidden in a dense bamboo forest, a wide variety of bamboo, human face bamboo, square bamboo, wheat bamboo, purple bamboo, cotton bamboo, Buddha belly bamboo, chicken claw bamboo, huqin bamboo, solid bamboo, and so on.
The reason why the bamboo forest surrounds the Wangjiang Tower is because Xue Tao has a special love for bamboo in his life, and expresses his love for bamboo in many poems, among which, the five laws "Paying people to play with bamboo after the rain" is the most famous, the poem:
When it rains in the spring of the southern day, the snow and frost are beautiful.
The multitude is also cloudy, and the humility is more self-sustaining.
Duo Liu JinXian was drunk, and he was sad with Shunfei early.
The late jun can appreciate, and the cang is vigorous.
In the poem, "Cang Cang is energetic and strange, and the humble heart can sustain itself" are often used by Xue Tao to motivate himself, hoping that he has such a noble character and virtue as bamboo. The bamboo forest in the park is abundant, and it can be regarded as a posterity to help Xue Tao complete his long-cherished wish of loving bamboo and using bamboo as a companion.
Since 1889, the park has successively built Chongli Pavilion, Maojin Tower, HuanJi Pavilion, WuyunXian Hall, Liubei Pond, Quan Xiang Xie, Yinshi Lou, Xue TaoJing, Xue Tao Memorial Hall and other antique buildings, which have been quite large-scale in the Republic of China period, and have been opened up as "Wangjiang Lou Park" and become one of the characteristic attractions of Chengdu.
Wangjiang Lou was originally named "Chongli Pavilion", and the source comes from the famous sentence "Both Beautiful and Reverential, Real Name Chengdu" in the famous Western Jin Dynasty literary scholar Zuo Si's "Shu Du Fu". After the completion of the entire complex, standing on the Chongli Pavilion, you can see the water of the Jinjiang River meandering to the south, so it was renamed "Wangjiang Tower" and has been used to this day.
According to the data, the Wangjiang Tower has 4 floors, a total height of 39 meters, and the roof ridge and the finches are decorated with gorgeous decorations, including clay sculptures of birds and animals, as well as character carvings and paintings. The whole building presents the aesthetic feeling of Zhuzhu biwa, gilded baoding, carved beams and paintings, and combines the majesty of northern architecture with the spirit of Jiangnan Pavilion, with a high artistic atmosphere.
Xue Tao was born in the capital Chang'an, a scholarly monk, and her father Xue Yun, who was an official in Chang'an City, was proficient in poetry and knowledgeable, and urged Xue Tao to read, write, and write poetry from an early age. By the age of 8, Xue Tao had already shown a high talent in literature, coupled with her quick thinking, she could answer quite easily in the face of "propositional poetry", such an excellent performance, so that Xue Yun was very satisfied with this precious daughter and treated her like a little princess.
However, when Xue Tao was 11 years old, Xue Yun, who had a straight personality and was upright, was belittled for offending the powerful people in the dprk and China, and the family had to leave the capital for Shudi, and eventually, they settled in Chengdu.
When Xue Tao was 14 years old, Xue Yun was sent as an emissary to the small southwestern country of Nanzhao, where he unfortunately contracted miasma and eventually died. The family lost its pillar, leaving other people's lives in immediate trouble.
Xue Tao, who was dependent on his mother for his life, grew up to be 16 years old, and there was really no way out, so he joined the music book, became a musician, and officially started a self-reliant life.
Historically, there were not many music tricks like Xue Tao, who were talented and proficient in piano, chess, calligraphy and painting, so Xue Tao quickly stood out among many music tricks with his own advantages, and was deeply loved by literati rioters and dignitaries. The famous literati of this period, Bai Juyi, Yuan Shu, Liu Yuxi, Du Mu, Zhang Yuan, Wang Jian, and others, all sang and reconciled with her, and even had emotional entanglements.
Because Xue Tao lived in Shu for more than 50 years, she can be regarded as an authentic Sichuanese, so she was known as the "Four Talented Women of Shuzhong" with Zhuo Wenjun, Lady Huarui, and Huang E, leaving many beautiful talks for posterity.
In addition to poetry, Xue Tao also showed a higher talent in calligraphy and couplets. The broken couplet on the upper floor of Wangjiang is her big stroke.
The location of Wangjiang Tower, known as "Yunujin" in the Tang Dynasty, is a famous ferry port, which is bustling with people every day. In the spring, the flowers on both sides of the Jinjiang River bloom one after another, decorating the surrounding area very beautifully. Spring is a good season to step on the spring and enjoy the flowers, every spring there are many girls from huanhua creek boat, down the river to Jinjiang, and then to Yunujin, to complete the spring tour.
According to legend, one spring Xue Tao came to an upper floor of Yunujin, witnessed the meandering water of the Jinjiang River, and casually chanted a sentence: Wangjiang Lou, Wangjiang Stream, Wangjiang Lou Wangjiang Stream, Jiang Lou Ancient, Jiang Liu Ancient.
Later, somehow, people didn't see the lower link, was it xue Tao who didn't write it at that time? Or was it written out and lost? It is no longer possible to verify. Up to now, this upper link has been engraved on the door frame in the form of a broken, leaving tourists with an endless beauty of mutilation.
Xue Tao's Shanglian can be said to be natural and natural, using easy-to-understand language, several scenic spots and monuments are cleverly connected to form a picture of ascending to the far side and the king's landing, and the perspective changes quickly, including sighs about the shortness of life and the fact that things are not human, there are many philosophical reflections hidden in it, and it is catchy to read.
Since the birth of this upper league, many talents have come to the top, eager to try, want to get out of the lower league, almost no one can achieve their wishes.
According to legend, until the 1930s, there was a talent named Li Jiyu in Shifang, Sichuan, who came to the "Moon Printing Well" next to the Wangjiang Tower on the night of a full moon, and saw the reflection of the bright moon in the well, which made him suddenly think of the Shanglian on the Wangjiang Tower, so he had a clever move and blurted out:
Intsukii, Intsukikage, Inzuki Inzuki, Tsukii, Tsukii, Tsukii, Tsukikage.
Although the artistic conception of this lower link is not prominent enough, there is a bit of a suspicion of rigidity, but compared with other lower links, it still shows a higher skill and connotation, from the form to the content, there are remarkable points. So far, only this lower link is the closest to the true color of the upper link.
