One day, when mr. Yangming was not there, Xiao Yangming took the opportunity to play games with other classmates and had a lot of fun.
After his father learned about this, he was very angry: "Our family has been diligent in reading for generations, what is the use of you playing this?" ”
Xiao Yangming asked rhetorically, "What is the use of reading?" ”

The gentleman told his father this. The father laughed and said, "Do children know what a sage is?" ”
Xiao Yangming listened and began to think about his father's words: What is a sage?
Since then, Xiao Yangming has set a grand ambition of "reading to be a sage".
