Mr. Yang, a citizen, met a woman in the community owner group, and after a deep understanding, he felt good, and slowly developed into a "boyfriend and girlfriend" relationship, and he was expected to be extorted by the woman and her husband for 500,000 yuan. Recently, the Qingpu police cracked this extortion case and arrested 2 criminal suspects.

At about 23:00 on August 15, 2021, the Huaxin Police Station of the Qingpu Public Security Bureau received a report from Mr. Yang, a citizen, claiming that he had been extorted.

It is understood that Yang met Ms. Zhou in a community owner WeChat group in 2019, and the two slowly developed a good feeling for each other through chat, and finally developed into an intimate "lover". After the ambiguous relationship between them was discovered by Ms. Zhou's husband, Fu Mou, Yang actually encountered joint threats of violence from Ms. Zhou and his wife, demanding that he pay 500,000 yuan in compensation. Under the threat of the other party, Yang had to compromise and transfer a part of it first, and signed an IOU.

Through the verification of the chat records and transfer records provided by Yang, the police determined that Fu and Zhou had a major suspicion of extortion. In the early morning of August 16, the police arrested the criminal suspects Zhou and Fu in a house in Maqiao, Mayang Village, Huaxin Town, and summoned them to the police station for further investigation.

The criminal suspect Fu Mou confessed that after he married his wife Zhou Mou, he had been in conflict because of trivial matters, and his feelings were very unstable. On the evening of August 14, in the chat with his wife Zhou, he accidentally found that his wife had an ambiguous relationship with Yang, and he hated Yang and had the idea of asking Yang for money as compensation. Ms. Zhou also had the idea of seeking a guarantee after the divorce, and the husband and wife reached a consensus to ask Yang for 500,000 yuan.

At about 9 o'clock on August 15, Fu and Zhou invited Yang by phone to a small road in Hujiatai on Jihe Highway in Huaxin Town. After the meeting, Fu beat and intimidated Yang, demanded 500,000 yuan, and took out a fire extinguisher from the trunk of the vehicle and put it in the cab, threatening Yang to transfer money to Zhou. Zhou also continued to add fuel to the side to assist Fu mou to ask Yang for money.

At present, the criminal suspects Fu X and Zhou X have been criminally detained by the Qingpu police in accordance with the law for suspected extortion, and the case is being further investigated.
