In the morning of the same day, at the opening ceremony of the Fifth Gu Rong Rice Rice Cultural Festival, the dance "The Joy of Harvest" kicked off the prelude to the Rice Rice Culture Festival. It is understood that Gurong Town, Dulong Deqing District, is known as "chubu holy land, the hometown of rice dumplings", and "ancient rong rice dumplings" is not only an intangible cultural heritage at the level of the Tibet Autonomous Region, but also a national geographical indication protection product. The unique climate and geographical environment have created gurong high-quality barley crops and generations of water mill processing technology, making gurong rice dumplings delicate in taste, sweet and tender, enjoying the reputation of "refined grain in grain", which is deeply loved by people. Legend has it that hundreds of years ago, the ancient Rong Rice Dumpling was a tribute to the local government of Tibet for generations, and now there are still 108 water mills in Gu Rong Town, which are driven by flowing water and run again and again, grinding out the intangible cultural heritage - the ancient Rong Rice Dumpling Making Technique.

The 5th Gu rong rice rice cultural festival is one of the important components of the Duilong Deqing District Yutuo Cultural Tourism Festival, and also an important starting point for inheriting the ancient Rong rice culture.
