The water is babbling and surrounded by green mountains. More than 50 wild Mandarin ducks in Yanhu Lake, Yingchuan Town, Jingning Area, Baishanzu National Park, forage and play in the turquoise waters of the lake. Wild male Mandarin ducks, red-billed and yellow-footed, with gorgeous plumage; female Mandarin ducks with black-billed yellow feet and gray-brown feathers. Sometimes they take a nap with their ears grinding; sometimes they are alone in a corner, quietly meditating; sometimes they draw their necks against the water, and their dance posture is light; sometimes they are soft and soft, and they are foraging and swimming.
In February 2019, the "Two Mountains" Development Conference of Lishui City proposed to create an "excellent" ecology of the national park and build the Baishanzu National Park into a model sample and best practice for promoting the construction of ecological civilization in the new era, not only embodying the national strategy, undertaking the national mission, but also basing on the advantages of Lishui and serving green development. With the continuous advancement of the creation of Baishanzu National Park and the continuous optimization of ecology, the number of wild Mandarin ducks wintering here has increased year by year, and Baishanzu National Park has become the first choice and popular place for wild Mandarin ducks to overwinter.

Mandarin duck is a national second-class protected animal, belongs to the winter migratory bird, is listed as the world's endangered species, is a famous ornamental bird in China, rare and lovely. Every year around the middle of October, it migrates from the north to the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, southeast and southwest to overwinter. After a few months of "vacation", when the flowers bloom in the spring of the following year, they fly back to the north to breed. At the same time, the wild Mandarin duck has high requirements for the ecological environment of the southward migration habitat, and its choice of where to live and inhabit is enough to prove that the natural ecological environment of this place is superior.
