author:Thoughtful client

On the afternoon of September 12th, "Corner to See North Shaanxi Road" held the second new book sharing meeting at the Wukang Road store of Dayin Bookstore to share the story that happened on North Shaanxi Road, look at Shanghai from one street, and feel the soft power of the city.

At the event site, wu Feipeng, one of the first readers of the book, chatted with everyone about himself and the story of North Shaanxi Road. "Every lane on North Shaanxi Road has a deep story." He said that the process of reading the book reminded him of the days of his childhood life in the North Shaanxi Road neighborhood. As an active "architecture readable" master in Shanghai, Wu Feipeng began to organize activities to walk in Shanghai ten years ago. In the past three years, their footprints have "drawn" a map of Shanghai, and they have found that they are not familiar with Shanghai, and there are many buildings and architects in Shanghai that are worth reading closely.

How to publicize North Shaanxi Road in a richer way has always been a question that Wu Fei, head of the North Shaanxi Road Exhibition and Consultation Center of China's famous historical and cultural streets, is thinking about.

Since 2017, the center has begun to introduce online literature into this old neighborhood, holding a network forum on North Shaanxi Road once a month, and now it has held 50 sessions, and a large number of internet celebrities have come as guests. This time invited to the network writers Jun Tian, Idle Listening to Falling Flowers, Mengfeng and other three network writers, and even Wu Fei himself also pseudonym North Road Slippery, everyone jointly wrote a book for North Shaanxi Road, but also out of the idea of letting more people understand North Shaanxi Road.

"Corner to see North Shaanxi Road"

Consists of three separate novellas:

Seymour Road Code/Thorn White (by Jun Tian) is a spy war story about a thrilling struggle in the Central Special Branch hidden in Shanghai after the defeat of the Revolution.

"Meet Love" (idle listening to falling flowers, North Road slipping) is an urban text composed of the first and second parts, with love stories as the running through, telling the life and death that pervade the old neighborhood from the 1940s to the 1980s and 1990s to the new century.

"Peace of Mind" (Dream Wind) is a workplace essay, telling the entrepreneurial story and life experience of four working women engaged in psychological counseling in the Meitaiheng Golden Business Circle on Nanjing West Road.

The stories written by the writers are closely related to the red culture, the Shanghai culture, the Jiangnan culture, their own lives, and the North Shaanxi Road, as described on the new book cover, "This crossroads is like a coordinate of the times, and the city of a hundred years can be seen at a glance." ”
