The second brother told me to try to join the party when I grew up

The 91-year-old Shi Linshan was originally from Lingshou County, and his father joined the Eighth Route Army and unfortunately died on the battlefield. The mother took Shi Linshan all the way west to pingshan county.

At the age of eight, his mother fell ill and died, and Shi Linshan became an orphan and made a living by herding cattle. "The second brother is also a cowherd baby, the two of us often herd cattle together," Shi Linshan said, "the second brother looks relatively strong, in the village is a 'child king', older than him also respect him, smaller than him is also afraid of him, a group of children listen to him, so at that time the party branch recommended him as the leader of the children's regiment." ”

Under the recommendation of Wang Erxiao, Shi Linshan also joined the children's group.

For decades, Shi Linshan would go to Wang Erxiao's tomb every day for a walk. Nowadays, due to his advanced age and inconvenient legs and feet, Shi Linshan has changed to going once a week to chat and talk. Every year during the Qingming Festival, they also bring their children and grandchildren to visit the grave and tell their revolutionary stories for their children and grandchildren.
