"All fish ponds have been transformed into bottom sewage discharge, and the aquaculture tailwater is concentrated in the purification pond, purified by duckweed, water hyacinth, white carp and other methods, and then recycled the tailwater," said Wu Linjun, head of the Wu Linjun Fishery in Suining City.
It is understood that through the tailwater treatment technology, the purified aquaculture tailwater can be recycled, the tailwater discharge phenomenon can be eliminated, and the removed sediment is used for crop bottom fertilizer; through the bottom discharge, the probability of fish diseases is effectively reduced, and the dosage of drugs is reduced, which not only ensures the quality and safety of aquatic products, but also protects the ecological environment.
According to Zhou Xu, head of the aquatic products station of the Agricultural and Rural Bureau of Anju District, at present, the phenomenon of direct tailwater discharge has been basically eliminated in the whole region, and according to the principle of one pond and one policy according to local conditions, a treatment plan has been formulated for farmers with obvious pollution hazards.
In recent years, Anju District has deeply practiced the development concept of green water and green mountains is Jinshan Yinshan, promoted aquaculture tailwater treatment, solved the contradiction between agricultural production and environmental protection, and promoted the green and healthy sustainable development of the aquaculture industry.
In July 2021, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs jointly issued the Notice on Implementing Fishery Development Support Policies to Promote the High-quality Development of Fisheries, and Anju District actively responded to the call to carry out fishery main investigations in a timely manner, check the treatment of aquatic tailwater in the whole region, vigorously promote the green ecological breeding model, promote the sustainable development of aquaculture through aquaculture tailwater treatment technology, achieve both ecological environment and economic benefits, and protect the clear water and blue sky of Anju.
