The firefly uses its tools to gently tap the outer membrane of the snail repeatedly, and the movement is very gentle, as if it is a harmless kiss rather than a sting...

I learned the wonderful technique of an insect paralyzing the other person, paralyzing the nerve centers of its prey with its own venom. Before human science had invented this technique, the most marvelous technique of modern surgery, fireflies and other insects had apparently known about it in ancient times. Insects are much earlier than we are, but in different ways.
