Fushun County held a training meeting on the election of county and township people's congresses

In order to implement the deployment requirements of party committees and people's congresses at all levels on the work of changing the term of office, further improve the legal awareness and professional skills level of the cadres of the people's congresses, and promote the steady and orderly development of the election work of the county and township people's congresses, on July 8, the Fushun County and Township People's Congresses election work training meeting was held at the conference center.

More than 120 people attended the meeting, including Guo Jie, secretary of the party leading group and director of the Standing Committee of the Fushun County People's Congress, Wang Wenbing, deputy director of the people's congress, Yang Kunwen and Yang Zhibin, county leaders, all personnel of the people's congress organs, and relevant responsible persons and staff of townships (streets) in the county.

The training meeting invited Liang Lin, a second-level researcher of the Selection Department of the Personnel Representative Working Committee of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, Wu Runxian, a visiting professor at the College of Arts and Sciences of Sichuan Normal University, and a visiting professor at the Sichuan Provincial People's Congress Training Center, to give lectures on the election of county and township people's congresses. The lecture gave detailed counseling and explanations on the division of constituencies, the proportion of deputies' structure, the participation of floating populations, the nomination and recommendation of deputies' candidates, and the examination of deputies' qualifications, which is of great reference significance and guiding role for Fushun County in doing a good job in the election of county and township people's congresses.
