The Guangxu Yuanbao of Jiangnan Province refers to the "Guangxu Yuanbao" series of silver coins minted by the Nanjing Mint from the 23rd to the 31st year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1897-1905), which are the legal circulation silver coins officially minted in the Qing Dynasty. However, at the end of the Qing Dynasty, when silver coins were minted in Jiangnan Province, there was no longer a Jiangnan province system.

Guangxu Yuanbao of Jiangnan province refers to the "Guangxu Yuanbao" series of silver coins, which was cast by Nanjing mint from the 23rd to the 31st year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1897-1905). Jiangnan Province was established in the second year of Shunzhi (1645) of the Qing Dynasty, and the provincial capital was located in Jiangning (present-day Nanjing). Jiangnan Province in the Qing Dynasty was formerly known as Jiangnan Province in the Ming Dynasty, and its scope was roughly equivalent to today's Jiangsu Province, Shanghai Municipality, and Anhui Province.

Jiangnan province was established in 1645, the second year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty, and the provincial capital is located in Jiangning (now Nanjing). Jiangnan Province in Qing Dynasty was formerly nanzhili Jiangnan Province in Ming Dynasty, and its scope is roughly equivalent to Jiangsu Province, Shanghai city and Anhui Province today.

The front of the silver coin is engraved with the four characters of "Guangxu Yuanbao" in the middle bead circle, the upper end of the circle is engraved with "Made in Jiangnan Province", the lower end is engraved with "Kuping Seven Coins and Two Cents", and the left and right sides are engraved with the words "Gengzi" of the Dry Branch Chronicle. A pearl dragon is engraved in the middle of the back of the silver coin, the English "KIANG NAN PROVINCE" is engraved at the upper end, the English coin is engraved at the lower end, and the English coin weighs "7 MACE AND 2 CANDAREENS", and a long six-flowered star is engraved on the left and right sides.

On the obverse of the silver coin, the Pearl circle is engraved with four characters of "Guangxu Yuanbao" in Chinese, on the top of the circle is engraved with "made in Jiangnan province", on the bottom is engraved with "Kuping seven coins and two cents", on the left and right sides are engraved with the two characters of "gengzi" in the year of Ganzhi. On the back of the silver coin is engraved a Pearl Dragon, on the top is engraved with English "Kiang Nan service", on the bottom is engraved with English coin weight "7 mace and 2 candareens", on the left and right are engraved with a long six flower star.

Because of its unique scales and armor, such as pearl inlays, it is nicknamed "Pearl Dragon" version.

It is also called "Pearl Dragon" version because of its unique scales with dragon pattern on its back, such as pearls inlaid.

Jiangnan Province's Gengzi Guangxu Yuanbao Silver Coin is the first silver coin engraved with a dry branch year in the Guangxu Yuanbao of Jiangnan Province. Even a rare finely minted silver coin that has survived today is very rare. Its text is bulging, the stroke pattern decoration is round and deep, the edge teeth are standard, the particles are clear, the dragon scale pearl grain grains are not empty and sticky, the ground seal is flat, smooth as a plate, and it has collection value.

The silver coin of Guangxu Yuanbao of gengzi in Jiangnan province is the first silver coin of Guangxu Yuanbao of Jiangnan province engraved with the year of Gan Zhi. It's a rare silver coin, which is still very rare. The characters are bulging, the strokes are round and deep, the edges and teeth are standard, the particles are clear, the Dragon scales and Pearl grains are free of nothingness and stickiness, the ground seal is flat and smooth as a board, which has a collection value.
