The new type of deep diving work mother ship is built for the Shanghai Salvage Bureau, mainly used for large-water depth emergency rescue and salvage operations far from the mainland shore-based support and harsh sea conditions, and is the most advanced technology and the most comprehensive high-end offshore equipment integrating rescue and salvage operations, saturation diving, deep-water marine engineering hoisting operations and pipe laying operations.

The length is 177.1 meters, the type width is 33 meters, the depth is 14.4 meters, the design draft is 7.5 meters, and the load capacity is 13280 metric tons. Under the conditions of cleaning hull and still water, the design draft, the main thruster is 100% MCR, and the speed is not less than 15.0 knots. With an endurance of 10,000 nautical miles, a self-sustaining capacity of not less than 60 days, a crew of 45 people and a resident of 180 people, it is in the Double class, and is built under the supervision of CCS and DNVGL Classification Society, with a Chinese flag. Ships can operate in global waters (except the Arctic and Antarctic), and can also complete the installation and maintenance of subsea engineering modules, work-level robot construction, large-scale object lifting, and the laying of submarine soft/hard pipes under harsh sea conditions, and the performance indicators and technical difficulties have reached the top level of domestic ships of the same type.

The vessel has excellent wave resistance, maneuverability and superior safety, equipped with 6 diesel generator sets with a single power of 4656kW. There are three full-swing thrusters at the stern, each with a power of 5500 kW. The bow is equipped with 2 telescopic full-swing thrusters with a power of 3100 kW each and 2 tunnel thrusters with a power of 3100 kW each. The ship has outstanding energy-saving and environmental protection advantages. The main generator set and the berthing generator set both meet the TIER III emission requirements, equipped with exhaust gas boilers and oil-fired boilers, which can be used for oil and water heating, effectively reducing fuel consumption. In closed-loop mode, the average operating time of the generator set can be reduced by about 20%, the fuel consumption can be reduced by more than 10%, the nitrogen oxide emissions can be reduced by about 20%, the sulfur emissions can be reduced by about 10%, and the carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced by about 11%. The ship air conditioning system and pipe laying system are controlled by frequency conversion to achieve effective energy saving. The vessel meets the highest environmental standards of CLEN DESIGN, the Norwegian classification society, and meets the requirements of the whole ship asbestos-free.

In addition, the boat has excellent comfort and advanced automation capabilities. The cabins are designed and laid out in a European style to meet the requirements of the Chinese classification society COMF (NOISE) 3, COMF (VIB) 3 and the Norwegian classification society COMF C(3)V(3) ultra-high comfort level requirements, providing a more comfortable indoor environment for the crew. The ship is equipped with an oversized wheelhouse and installed floor-to-ceiling windows with 360-degree full visibility, as well as coffee tables, sunken office areas and meeting areas to provide a good working environment for the crew. The design and arrangement of the driver's console meets the highest specifications of THE Norges Classification Society NAUT OSV(A) and truly enables one-person driving. The power system, ship system, and task system can all be controlled and monitored through the ship's integrated automation system, and there are about 10,000 automatic control points on the whole ship, which greatly reduces the labor intensity of the crew.
