According to geological scientists, the fossils of the penstone here were formed in the marine environment about 430 million years ago, mainly composed of carbonaceous shale, which can be found in a large number of pencil fossils. Penstone is a general term for the fossils of the class of penstones, is an extinct marine group of organisms, because its preservation state is flattened into a carbonous film, much like the traces of pencil writing on the rock layer, so it is called "pen stone" by scientists.
