To be liberated
It's life and death and reincarnation
Cut off karma
The present moment is the Pure Land
When it comes to liberation, many people may panic: "Will all the happiness of the present disappear with liberation?" ”
This requires understanding, what exactly is liberation? What can be liberated? What is liberating? Why should we be liberated? How do I gain liberation?
What Buddhism calls liberation is liberation from birth and death, liberation from samsara. The root of birth, death and samsara lies in our confusion and karma.
Karma is a seed created by thoughts, words, and deeds. Confusion is confusion and defilement, in which there is a distinction between seeing and thinking.
Confusion refers to various erroneous perceptions formed by ignorance, such as wrong concepts such as body view, side view, and evil view. Once the Tao is seen, these confusions will be completely dissolved. In addition, there are many troubles arising from misconceptions, that is, confusion.
This requires continuous practice of emptiness after seeing the path, and in the process of meditation, the dirt of the mind is gradually removed. When all the impurities of the mind are emptied, liberation can be achieved and the holy fruit can be realized.
So liberation is not liberation from something external, not giving up all that goes into the mountains, it's just one of the ways to reach liberation. Of course, giving up is an important means that is easy to achieve results, but in the end it is only a helper, and the key lies in the adjustment of mental behavior.
If the inner delusion has not been removed, even if you live on the moon, you will be troubled and miserable. On the other hand, if we can get rid of our delusional karma, the present moment is the Pure Land, that is, the present Dharma is blissfully dwelling.
