The plan proposes to vigorously promote new energy vehicles, gradually reduce the proportion of traditional fuel vehicles in the production and sales of new vehicles and car ownership, promote the electrification of urban public service vehicles, and promote electric, hydrogen fuel, and liquefied natural gas-powered heavy freight vehicles.

The Ministry of Finance and other five ministries and commissions have previously jointly issued the Notice on Launching the Demonstration Application of Fuel Cell Vehicles. Clear approval and approval of the urban agglomeration submitted by Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong Province to start the implementation of fuel cell vehicle demonstration applications. During the four-year demonstration period, each urban agglomeration can receive up to 1.7 billion yuan of central financial funds, and adopt the method of "substituting awards for compensation".

From July this year to the present, fuel cell companies such as Quanchai Power, Himalayas, Shenghui Technology, Cummins, Weishi Energy, Reshaping Technology, Snowman Shares, Shenzhen Guo hydrogen and other fuel cell companies have signed new projects and invested in the expansion of production bases.
