The China Independent Animation Film Forum (CIAFF) is Chinese mainland first unofficial, non-profit animation exchange art project co-sponsored and curated by non-governmental organizations, aiming to focus on each individual animation creator. Spanning multiple industries and fields, extracting the spirit of artistic creation, gathering and supporting high-quality Chinese original forces, and promoting the level of development of Chinese animation creation.
- Different creators, scholars and curators are invited to curate a forum every year
- Openly solicit works from colleges and universities, animation studios, and independent animators at home and abroad
- Successfully held for seven sessions
- Many animation directors who have won international awards and successfully landed in theaters have emerged from the forum

1st Forum Fund Awards - Chase

Those who chase the shadow will eventually become the shadow themselves. What is chased cannot be chased, and nothing that is stopped cannot be stopped. We rejoice and mourn in the chase, but we can no longer hear the other sounds of life, until we finally become a walking shadow. The short film is made up of a multitude of seemingly unrelated characters: children who are constantly looking forward, crows, shadows, idiots, groves, cities, etc. They seem to exist to play the same game, and they each have their own different trajectories, only because of the delicate mismatch of fate and the connection.

The 3rd Imatoshi Awards - Inspiration

The 5th Student Works Award - My Conch Memory

The story follows a girl who redeems her inner self by completing an unfinished portrait of her father before his death. The father once told the girl that if she missed a person, she could communicate through the conch, but after the father left, she tried to use the conch many times to communicate with her father, but there was no sound in the conch until the drawing was completed, and the sound came from the conch.

6th Special Nomination - "Chicken Fishing"

The work is adapted from the chicken fishing chapter in Feng Jicai's "Strange People in the World", and intercepts the clip of chicken fishing. It is about the early years of the Republic of China, Tianjin Wei, there was a chicken thief, several families of chickens flew but there was no clue to follow, all thanks to him.
