Earlier this week, Activision unveiled call of Duty 14: WWII's new DLC "Gears of War," but only some screenshots of the new map were made public at the time. In today's updated weekly community blog, developer sledgehammer games has published screenshots of brand new angles.
From the screenshots, the new map takes place in Giza, Egypt, just outside its famous pyramids. A cannon is shown in the picture, but given the gameplay of the Call of Duty series, this may just be decoration.

Meanwhile DLC's new zombie map "Throne of Shadows" was also exposed, set in a burning, destroyed German Berlin.
In addition to the new screenshots, a new feature has been added to the war mode of the game: an afk timer. Now, if you are inactive for five minutes in War Mode, the game automatically kicks the player back to the main menu.
Call of Duty 14: WWII was released on November 3, 2018, landing on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. Gears of War will land on April 10, 2018.
