"Paradise in the Army": Yao Chen's husband has entered a round for this military prostitute movie

1. Two years ago, because of filming this film, director Niu Chengze took Cao Yu as a photographer and entered the Left Camp Military Port of the Taiwan Navy in an imposter manner. Because Cao Yu was a mainlander, his actions violated local regulations and was transferred to justice by Taiwan's "Naval Command" in accordance with the "crime of invading the fortress premises" in the "Fortress And Fortress Zone Law." As Yao Chen's husband, Cao Yu's somewhat reckless behavior appeared on the entertainment version of the mainland. This allowed many ordinary viewers to know for the first time about this movie called "Paradise in the Army".

2. The name "Paradise in the Army" itself can actually faintly flash some ambiguous pink. It does tell a history that was once secret. Set in the 1960s, "Paradise in the Army" is set in the 1960s, with the theme of "Paradise in the Army", which has a special meaning in the military circles on the island, and describes the story that occurred after the "823 Artillery Battle" during the confrontation between the Kuomintang and the Communists. The "Paradise in the Army", code-named "831", was a special department that provided sexual services to the Kuomintang army. With the passage of time, "831" was abolished by 1990. From a cinematic point of view, this is a naturally good subject.

3. However, Niu Chengze's emotional cancer suddenly occurred. This very heavy and tragic history is filmed alive with a SENSE OF TV drama flooded with dog blood and tears. Initially, Niu Chengze wanted to make the film a sex comedy. "When I proposed it to the outside world, I said that it was "Report Squad Leader" plus "In Those Years, the Girl We Chased Together" plus "Big River and Sea", with all kinds of jokes for recruit training, the growth of teenagers, and the feelings of a big river and sea." He said so in an interview. Later, as he deepened his understanding, he felt more and more the absurdity and cruelty in that "military paradise", so he decided to change the direction of shooting, but eventually twisted it into the way it is now. The first third is used for comics, the middle third is used for sensationalism, and the last part is used for performance reflection. The middle is also interspersed with bridges that make you mistakenly think that it is a high school idol drama, the beach and the sea, and the white clothes fluttering.

4. The male protagonist is Ruan Jingtian, to some extent, Chen Jianbin is also one of the male protagonists. Ruan Jingtian was quite pleasantly surprised, from the new recruit egg who did not understand the world to the waste wood of 831, and looked at the group of women who were trapped in the cage of fate with his eyes. He himself has changed his appearance little by little in the process of perseverance and struggle. He does not act well, sells cuteness with his mouth open, sells meat bare-chested, and it is estimated that there are girls who love to watch. Chen Jianbin is really enough to fight, to play the emperor Amma's body is reduced, exposed to the sun, he played this low-level officer, from being arrested zhuangding to migrating to Taiwan, a lifetime of drifting zero, the only bit of love and hope are pinned on a "eight-three-one" woman, and finally found that he was fooled, killed the girl and buried himself. Perhaps death was the only way out for him and all those behind him who shared their fate. This is one of the most absurd and cruel aspects of the film.

5. Niu Chengze seems to have said that this film is a buffer work between two blockbusters. I don't know if it is for this reason, "Paradise in the Army" is always filled with a particularly strong sense of study, at least a feeling of casual tinkering. Logically, Niu Chengze should not have made such an unobtrusive thing. But in many places in this work, you can clearly see the director's calculations. Which shot in order to incite tears, which picture in order to connect history, that line in order to show the impermanence of fate, are eager to directly use subtitles to make hints next to it. In this way, it seems very low-level. To put it bluntly, this famous movie is actually a bunch of material that has not really been completely completed. When Ruan Jingtian and Chen Jianbin sat on the hillside, listening to the rumbling cannons on the other side, recalling their youth, crying and shouting, I could hear the sound of the film score being brushed off. This is really all supported by Chen Jianbin's acting skills, and it is time to laugh when changing actors. In addition to these, some bridge sections are also handled in a bit of an inexplicable way. For example, shortly after the opening, a group of soldiers walked in the street, and all the passers-by were normal, except for these soldiers who only wore red shorts and were always naked. What the hell is this? Why? Even if you let Ruan Jingtian sell meat, it will not be set up so abruptly, right?

6. In this play, the proportion of male and female characters is half, and some of the female characters are not badly shown. Whether it is Wan Qian, a mainland actor who is not familiar to people, or Chen Yihan in Taiwan, the acting can be regarded as a look. The group of captive women, imprisoned here, some out of helplessness, some people are making atonement for their sins, each has their own heart, are stories that have nowhere to tell. There is a overhead shot that sweeps over three or four women who are receiving customers in succession, and the expression of perfunctory and tired is like a female worker on the assembly line. If this movie were all narrated from such a perspective, it would be much better than it is now. But in fact, this film is always hesitant between pain and humor.

7. Overall, "Paradise in the Army" does not want to be too heavy, and hooking up history is itself an anti-commercial act. Perhaps, the director still wants the general audience to be able to enter the story itself briskly without understanding the history. But he couldn't let go of his feelings. This movie is aimed at the expectation of Niu Chengze, the appearance of Ruan Jingtian, and The acting skills of Chen Jianbin, but it is okay to take the necessary look, but don't expect too much. Some of these details will still inadvertently shine a little. For example, the various local sounds of the people who went from the mainland to the island, such as the huge oath sign at the entrance of the military paradise, written "Perseverance", humorous and piercing pun. Another example is the unresolved bed scene between Ruan Jingtian and the woman, which is so desperate. But from the current results, Yao Chen's husband has entered a round for such a film, which is really not worth it. ★
