This article only contains some plot spoilers, but does not contain any game graphics, please feel free to read. The game is available in the United States and runs on the PS5 console.
Last fall, Square Enix released Marvel's Avengers from Crystal Power, and while it has almost the same core as today's reviewed game, Marvel's Avengers' emphasis on endgame makes it not really shine the light that Marvel should have.
This year, Square Enix once again went deep into Marvel, produced by Eidos Montreal, the team behind the Tomb Raider reboot, and Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy was officially launched.

While both are based on the Marvel Universe with Marvel's Avengers, Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy clearly has its own approach that makes it easy for players to distinguish between the two.
Guardians of the Galaxy involves comics and movies, which gives it a lot of room to make the game fun, and despite my promise not to spoilers, I still want to tell you that if you're a fan of the movie, you'll see quite a bit of Star-Lord's glorious history in the game.
Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, and his Rockets, Groot, Dex, and Camorra are roaming the galaxy, looking for jobs to make a fortune, and need to avoid the Nova Legion as much as possible. At the beginning of the game, the protagonist team is trying to find Queen Helbend's pet through the quarantine zone controlled by the Nova Corps. This led to a series of events that shook the core of the universe and brought new tests to the tattered team.
The whole story takes the player to different locations and scenes, some of which have appeared in the movies and some of which have appeared in the comics. For fans of both, it is a treat in every way. The player controls Peter and will assign tasks to the entire team in the game.
For example, open a door, please let the rocket pry the door, of course, you can also choose to let Thex directly smash the door open. The map in the game is very large, but it is full of collectibles and secrets that will make it not too boring for players familiar with the open world.
The basic task flow draws on mass effects, and different choices may have different outcomes. The entire battle flow in the game is also very smooth, there is no rush, in the face of the enemy's charge, only one button is needed, and Dex will help you get it. Players can also assign separate shortcuts to different skills, abilities, and characters, which is not too complicated. Eidos Montreal draws on the elements of Tomb Raider, and the game is both challenging and fun.
Peter's weapons come from the settings in the comics, and as the game progresses, the weapons will have different elemental attributes, which is a bit of a borderlands. Kamora uses her sword, Dex uses his dagger, and Rocket and Groot are powerful turrets.
Each character has four combat skills, including a unique combat skill for the character, such as rockets will randomly release a variety of strange objects, so far I have seen 3 kinds, including missiles, bombs and an airplane, yes, rockets are the funny bearer of this game, every time the rocket amplification move, I always guess what he will pull out this time.
Like mass effects, there are separate emotional lines between each character in the game, different choices will cause different reactions from each other, and in battle, teammates controlled by AI will also jump out to praise or scold the player when Peter calls for the right skill or the wrong skill.
The music in the game is the same as in the movie, full of a lot of 80s hit songs, and the music is not played in a fixed scene, but may correspond to the mood, feelings and position of the team, but different, and I feel like replaying.
The game screen also fully demonstrates the performance of the PS5, whether it is cutscenes or game operations, seamless screen switching, so that you can fully immerse yourself in the game.
I think this game is probably going to be a hit in my mind this year, and when you actually play it, you'll find that you're in a good connection with the team because of the powerful story and fluid interaction that brings the characters to life.
As Dix said, Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy is an adventure that will never be slackened, and I will embark on an epic journey that I will never forget.
Final rating: 9 out of 10, highly recommended for mass effect fans to buy.
