Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, a surprisingly qualified game for many, has just received a bunch of improvements in the latest update of Eidos-Montréal.

Most notably, the update brings ray tracing mode to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox X Series, as well as a hidden save rollback feature that allows users experiencing blocking issues to roll back to the beginning of the chapter of their choice.
The basic PlayStation 4 also has performance improvements, and the Xbox Series S offers unlimited frame rate options for players using variable refresh rate displays.
As you'd expect, there have also been general improvements in stability across all platforms, as well as general improvements to target tagging, and Eidos-Montréal has also published full patch notes.
"'Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy' is sometimes enjoyable enough, but is dragged down by a lot of unnecessary systems and bullet sponge-like battles," foreign media comments wrote.
As a Marvel IP-changed action game, Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy supports a number of high-performance modes such as light chase, DLSS, HDR and up to 8K resolution. The game has been available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
