On October 26, the 2021 Artificial Intelligence Computing Conference (AICC 2021) was held in Beijing. With the theme of "Smart Computing, New Horizons", this conference aims to explore how computing can transform into intelligent computing under the new pattern of artificial intelligence becoming a new engine of digital economy, and how intelligent computing can empower scientific and technological innovation, social governance and industrial upgrading, so as to accelerate the construction of digital China and smart society.

The "2021-2022 Chinese Intelligent Computing Power Development Evaluation Report" released the latest Chinese intelligent city ranking list, the top 5 cities are Beijing, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanjing, Shanghai, and the 6-10 cities are Suzhou, Guangzhou, Jinan, Chengdu and Hefei. Compared with 2020, Nanjing's ranking has risen sharply to fourth, and Jinan and Chengdu have entered the top ten. At the same time, computing power and applications develop in synergy to promote the diversified development of AI scenarios. From the perspective of the application penetration ranking of the artificial intelligence industry, the top 5 industries in the artificial intelligence industry application penetration ranking in 2021 are the Internet, finance, government, telecommunications and manufacturing. Compared with 2020, the application of artificial intelligence in the financial industry has accelerated and surpassed that of the government industry, ranking second; the application of artificial intelligence in the manufacturing, transportation and energy industries has also been more in-depth, ranking fifth, seventh and ninth respectively.
During AICC2021, the world's leading AI companies brought more than 600 of the latest AI products and application achievements, allowing participants to feel the "smart atmosphere" of the smart era. At the conference site, the world's largest Chinese AI giant model "Source 1.0" developed by inspur Artificial Intelligence Research Institute became the focus of the audience, and a large number of participants lined up to interact with "Source 1.0" to experience artificial intelligence poetry, write couplets and other projects, and personally experience the transformation of content production methods driven by artificial intelligence; the naked-eye 3D display of the intelligent computing center with cool effects allowed participants to feel the "beauty of computing" of the new artificial intelligence infrastructure. The Artificial Intelligence Computing Conference (AICC), hosted by the Faculty of Information and Electronic Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and hosted by Inspur Information, focuses on the artificial intelligence computing industry and discusses AI technology innovation, ecological integration and talent training.
