ROONEY: Hopefully people will remember me for who I am, not because of what I've done

Live Bar October 12, Derby County Manager Rooney said in an interview today that he hopes people will remember him because of who he is, not because of what he has done.

In an interview, Rooney said: "What people don't understand is that when you're 17, you're going to make some mistakes. People still see me in a different way, but it's important that people remember who I am, not what I've done. Whether I like it or not, football will remain a part of my life until the day I die. I've loved fighting since I was a kid... Fight for everything. This will never leave me. ”

"I grew up in Croxteth, Liverpool. If you come from there, you don't think it's a violent place. I had a lot of arguments with my father and he would slap me in the face. I wasn't a very well-behaved kid and used to get into arguments when I was younger. ”

During his time at Manchester United, Rooney made 559 appearances and scored 253 goals for the team, and he scored 53 goals for England on the national team. He is currently the all-time top scorer king of Manchester United and England.
