
The Concert of the 72nd Anniversary of the National Day of the National Centre for the Performing Arts was staged by Fang Fei
Beijing, 30 Sep (China News Network) -- On the evening of 29 September, the concert for the 72nd anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China was held in the Concert Hall of the National Centre for the Performing Arts. Conductor Tan Lihua conducted the Beijing Symphony Orchestra and the Beijing Music Association Choir, and together with Gao Shan, Zheng Peiqin, Zhang Yingxi, Wang Chong, Zhou Xiaolin and other artists, jointly performed "I Love You, China", "Red Detachment of Women", "Yao Dance", "On the Field of Hope", "Golden Hearth" and other well-known masterpieces, offering deep blessings for the 72-year-old birthday of the motherland.
In the magnificent melody of the orchestral "Ode to the Red Flag", the concert officially kicked off. The work was composed by the famous composer Lu Qiming, a recipient of the "July 1st Medal", in 1965. This work depicting the first five-star red flag rising at the founding ceremony has inspired and influenced generations of Chinese since its premiere, and the sonorous and powerful melody is just like the heroic spirit of hundreds of millions of people bravely advancing under the guidance of the red flag.
A song "I Love You, China" sings a strong patriotic feeling with a simple and natural melody, and the ballet "Red Detachment of Women" is a brilliant reproduction of the red rhyme in memory. The orchestral music "Yao Dance" composed by Liu Tieshan and Mao Yuan brought the audience to the celebration scene of Yao compatriots singing and dancing; "The Sun Shines in Tashkurgan" jointly presented by the violinist Gao Participatory Orchestra showed the vast and beautiful grassland scenery with strong ethnic customs, and the bow strings played in unison rendered the lively and cheerful festival atmosphere of Tajik herders.
In addition, another violin and band work performed by Gao Shen, "The Golden Hearth", combines femininity and strength, showing the heroic ambition of the Chinese working class to rely on itself and build socialism. The fourth movement of the symphony "Without the Communist Party, There Would Be No New China" is taken from Cao Xinghuo's song of the same name, and the rich symphonic language sets off the theme of the whole work, and the whole song expresses the pride of victory in the magnificent climax, showing the century-old glory of the Communist Party of China.
In addition to the symphonic works, Zheng Peiqin, Zhang Yingxi, Zhou Xiaolin and Wang Chong also brought to the audience the symphonic suite "Sister Jiang" selection, "Motherland, Kind Mother", "Beijing Ode", "Ode to the Motherland", "On the Field of Hope" and other works, or recreated the classic melody with heroic and fearless heroism, or expressed their heartfelt praise and infinite love for the mother of the motherland with a kind and solemn and affectionate singing. The whole concert ended with the powerful melody of the song "Pilot", and the soft and gentle music sang the voice of every audience present, and also sang the praise and love of all Chinese for the motherland.
During the performance that night, the National Centre for the Performing Arts also specially invited models and representatives from all walks of life in the capital to watch the performance, including medical workers, community workers, emergency rescue workers, sinking cadres, athletes and other outstanding workers, to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of New China.
