On September 18, the 90th anniversary of the outbreak of the 918 Incident. Time can heal wounds, but it cannot erase memories. On September 18, 1931, Japanese imperialism brazenly launched a war of armed aggression against northeast China. While invading and occupying northeast China by force with swords and guns, Japanese imperialism went so far as to disregard the strong opposition of international public opinion, flagrantly violated international conventions, engaged in large-scale research on biological and chemical weapons in northeast China and japan, and even inhumanely experimented with living people, and waged brutal germ warfare and chemical warfare in the war of aggression against China. The 731st Unit of the Japanese Army invading China was one of the largest bases in the northeast for conducting bacteriological experiments, developing bacteriological weapons, and conducting bacteriological warfare.

At the Northeast Martyrs' Memorial Hall, a group of important criminal evidence reflecting the 731st Unit of the Japanese Army invading China was engaged in the development of bacteriological weapons and carried out bacteriological warfare. One of the ceramic bacterial bomb shells is particularly eye-catching, measuring 68 cm in height, 22.1 cm in diameter and weighing 8.75 kg. This kind of bacterial bomb was personally designed by Shiro Ishii, the commander of the 731st Unit, so it was called "Ishii-type germ bomb". It is very different from ordinary bombs, and the shell shell of the bacterial bomb is ceramic. There are two "M" shaped grooves on the surface and inside of the shell that resemble paper clips, and a two-centimeter horizontal groove at the waist. The head of the shell has a spiral opening for detonators and fuses, and the tail is equipped with equipment to adjust the landing speed. A small amount of explosives can be placed in the groove of the shell to burst the shell, and the heat is small when the explosion is small, and it will not harm the bacteria or bacteria-carrying fleas in the shell. After being dropped from the aircraft, the germ bomb explodes at an altitude of 100 to 200 meters above the ground, and the bacteria or bacteria-carrying fleas in the projectile can be scattered to the ground in a large area. In case the bacteria bomb falls to the ground, the impact is strong enough to break through the ceramic shell, and the bacteria can also leak to the ground. In June 1941, Unit 731 conducted an experiment in Anda to check the effectiveness of germ bombs. After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, when relevant departments and experts and scholars conducted an investigation of the garrison of the 731 Unit, they found the shell casing of this germ bomb, which was later handed over to the Collection of the Northeast Martyrs Memorial Hall.

The exhibits are speechless, but they most powerfully expose the historical truth of the Japanese invasion of China. The Northeast Martyrs Memorial Hall conducted a three-dimensional data scan of the shell shell of this germ bomb, and launched the cloud exhibition of "Iron Evidence: Stone Well-type Bacterial Bomb Shell Shell of the 731st Unit of the Japanese Army Invading China", which organically combined the three-dimensional modeling technology of cultural relics with historical facts for the first time, so that the audience could more truly look back at the historical warning contained in the deep suffering.

The Northeast Martyrs Memorial Hall was built in 1928 to establish the Eastern Province Special District Library. In September 1933, the Harbin Police Department of the puppet state of Manchukuo moved into this building.
