Excessive moisture content of ethyl acetate can have the following effects on the composite quality:

  (1) The moisture consumption of the curing agent makes the ratio of the main agent and the curing agent inaccurate, which affects the curing of the product and will appear sticky.

  (2) Due to the reaction of moisture and curing agent, carbon dioxide is quickly generated, the infiltration of the adhesive is restricted, and it is easy to make the product bubble.

  (3) Moisture grabbing curing agent can lead to the formation of polyurethane urea (R-NHCOHN-R) with high cohesion strength of the adhesive, resulting in the product prone to crystal point and hardening.

  (4) The water dissolves into the solvent, slowing down the volatilization rate of ethyl ester, affecting the spread rate and hardening rate of the adhesive, and also easily causing solvent residues.
