On July 8th, the second "Yibin Sprouts" Industry Development Conference and the first "Yibin Sprouts" Gastronomic Innovation Competition were held in Cuiping District, Yibin City, Sichuan Province. It is understood that Yibin sprouts were founded in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, under the unique natural environment and cultural environment of Cuiping, gradually formed a unique flavor of "fragrant, sweet, crisp, tender and fresh", and became one of the four major pickled vegetables in Sichuan with the same name as "Fuling squeezed vegetables", "Nanchong winter vegetables" and "Neijiang kohlrabi", and Cuiping District was also rated as "the hometown of Chinese sprouts".

In recent years, Cuiping District has implemented the decision-making and deployment of the municipal party committee to "build a strong agricultural city with modern characteristics", regarded the development of the sprout industry as an important starting point for the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy, established the Yibin Cuiping District Sprouts Association, introduced 10 measures for the development of the sprout industry, supported agricultural product processing enterprises and other policies, with "one garden, one core and two areas" as the development focus, and made every effort to build the Yibin sprouts agricultural standardization demonstration area and promote the industrialization, scale and brand development of Yibin sprouts. According to statistics, the planting of greens and the initial processing of sprouts has increased the per capita income of farmers in Cuiping District by 3,000 yuan / year, contributed to the revitalization of the countryside, and formed one of the pillar industries of rural revitalization in Cuiping District.
