Earlier, the Henan Business Daily reporter learned from the project department of the Zhengzhou to Puyang section of the Zhengzhou-Puyang section of the Zhengji Railway of China Railway Construction Group Co., Ltd. that the station building of Puyang East Railway Station will meet the static acceptance standards at the end of this year. The capping of the main structure of the station marks the completion of the structural engineering of the main station building of Puyang East Railway Station, and will soon enter the stage of steel structure hoisting, internal and external decoration and mechanical and electrical installation.
The Zhengzhou-Puyang section of the Zhengzhou-Ji Railway started construction on October 29, 2016, with a total length of 197.279 kilometers, and according to the design speed of 350 kilometers per hour, the fastest travel time between Zhengzhou and Puyang will be shortened to one hour.
According to the plan, there are a total of 7 stations in the Zhengzhou to Puyang section of the Zhengji Railway, of which Zhengzhou East Railway Station is an existing station, the existing Xinxiang East Station is remodeled and expanded, the Pingyuan New District Station, Weihui South Station, Huaxian Xunxian Station, Neihuang Station, Puyang East Station are newly built stations, and Puyang East Station is the largest of the new stations.
All along, the construction progress of Puyang East Railway Station has attracted much attention, and the completion of the high-speed rail is of great significance. The capping of Puyang East Railway Station means that these 5 new high-speed rail stations all show their "fangrong".
Puyang East Railway Station is located in the east of Puyang City near Zongchanghu Village, north of Yellow River Road, south of Subei Road, the total construction area of the station building is 26,000 square meters, a three-story structure, two floors above ground, one floor underground, and 3 sets of 7 lines in the yard scale. In the near and long-term planning, the annual passenger dispatch volume of Puyang East Railway Station is 6.25 million and 8.4 million, respectively, and the peak hourly passenger dispatch volume is 2050 and 2600 people, respectively.
The design concept of Puyang East Railway Station is taken from the cultural characteristics of Puyang's "Chinese Dragon Township", and reflects the architectural intention of "dragon soaring" through the change of roof contour line and the change of façade material texture.
In the design plan, taxi and bus hub platforms are set up on both sides of the elevated platform of Puyang East Railway Station, and the space under the overhead roof on both sides is used for passengers to wait for and take and descend, and an air-rail intermodal service station is set up on one side of the platform to increase the traffic connection between the high-speed rail station and the new airport in Puyang.
