On September 29, 51-year-old Wu Chengwen was still lying in a hospital bed for treatment. More than half a month ago, Wu Chengwen, a villager who lives in Tielu Township, Qianwei County, Leshan City, Sichuan Province, was doing farm work in the fields when he was suddenly attacked by swarms of horse bees and was stung by more than 140 people. Wu Chengwen continues to receive treatment

According to his son Wu Qibo, the incident occurred on September 8, when Wu Chengwen was suddenly attacked by a horse bee while doing farm work in the field, and he ran away with his head in his arms, and passed out before he reached the house. When the family found out, he was still crawling with several wasps, and when he undressed, he found that he was covered with injuries. According to Wu Qibo, his father was attacked by wasps, which are often referred to as horse bees, a large, aggressive and toxic bee. More than half a month later, the sting wounds on Wu Chengwen's body are still clearly visible, with a total of more than 140 wounds, which is shocking.

According to the nephrologist of Leshan People's Hospital, Wu Chengwen was unconscious when he was admitted to the hospital, the skin of the whole body was yellow, and it was very difficult to breathe, which was a symptom of the release of bee venom into the blood after a serious bee sting, and the toxin directly caused the damage to Wu Chengwen's organ function, especially the liver and kidneys. After being admitted to the hospital, Wu Chengwen was directly sent to the intensive care department, and the hospital also issued a notice of critical illness.

Wounds after stings

Fortunately, after 7 days in a coma, Wu Chengwen actually recovered a life.

Wu Chengwen said, "Before I was stung by the horse bee, I was in good health, there was no problem in picking a 200-pound weight, this time it was a death, even the doctor said it was a miracle." However, he said that after more than half a month of treatment in the hospital, he spent all his family's savings and owed a large debt. At present, Wu Chengwen has temporarily passed through the dangerous period, but he can only detoxify with the help of dialysis.

According to doctors, every September and October is a high incidence of stings by bees, and the toxins of wasps can cause functional failure of human liver, kidneys and other organs. If you encounter a small number of vespa attacks, try not to run, you can choose to crouch or lie down, cover your head with long clothes. After being stung by a vespa, the wound is cleaned and sent to the hospital for treatment in time.
