Wild chrysanthemums are derived from the dried head-shaped inflorescence of the plant Asteraceae, Chrysanthemum indicum L.
Flowers are picked in autumn and winter when they first bloom, dried in the sun or steamed and dried.

Identify the gist
(1) It is spherical in shape, with a diameter of 0.3 to 1 cm.
(2) Tongue-shaped flowers 1 round, yellow to brownish yellow, wrinkled and curled, most of the tubular flowers in the center, dark yellow; total bracts gray-green, 4 to 5 layers, marginal membranous.
(3) Aromatic and bitter taste.
Traditional experience holds that flowers are intact and yellow in color, and it is preferable to have no sessile.
