According to the news on October 8, an aircraft-shaped café in Kampot Province is under construction and is expected to open at the end of 2021, and the café may become Cambodia's newest tourist attraction.
It is reported that the homemade aircraft café was built for aviation enthusiasts and coffee drinkers tourist groups, its location is located next to the Ninh Dam on Highway 33, and was built by a family in Dong Ngong Village, Kampong Dra Township, located in the western part of Kampong Dra County.
Tong Chiling, the driving force behind the project, revealed that the aircraft cost about 20 million riels (US$5,000), was 12 meters long, more than 2 meters wide, and had wings 3 meters long.
He said the plane would showcase cambodian children's work and visitors would be drawn to the café for coffee.
As it is currently the rainy season, the above-mentioned café has not been completed, but it is expected to be completed and opened by the end of 2021.
