A few days ago, the Jieshishan wine industry chain service exchange meeting was held in Qinhuangdao Moutai Phoenix Manor. This event is not only a special activity of the Changli Wine Cluster of the "100 Million Homes" public welfare service for small and medium-sized enterprises in Hebei Province in 2021, but also an important activity of the Qinhuangdao Winemakers Association.

The event was hosted by the Industrialization and Information Department of Hebei Province, organized by Qinhuangdao Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Changli County Jieshishan Area Development Management Committee, and co-organized by China Wine Circulation Association, China Winemakers Alliance Qinhuangdao Winemakers Association, Hebei Wine Industry Technology Research Institute (preparation), Moutai Phoenix Estate, Langus Winery, Jieshishan Wine Terroir Expression and Key Brewing Technology R&D and Innovation Team. The event continued the basic framework of the 2021 China Winemaker Alliance training system, and took wine marketing strategies, wine serving and catering collocations, and industrial chain services as the key core contents.
Qinhuangdao Jieshishan appellation is one of the oldest appellations in China, and it is also the place where China's first bottle of new craft dry red wine was born. The local wine industry has developed a mature industry, with a number of well-known corporate brands such as the Great Wall of China, Moutai Wine, Langus Winery, Jinshi Winery, etc., and has cultivated a large number of wine industry talents, including many excellent winemakers.
Qinhuangdao is a beautiful coastal tourist city with a rich history, natural endowments and beautiful Zhong Lingyu, and enjoys the reputation of "Great Wall Seaside Park" and "Beijing-Tianjin Back Garden". In recent years, with the vigorous development of wine-themed tourism, it is particularly critical for enterprise personnel to learn and master wine servings. One of the highlights of this exchange meeting is the face-to-face communication between the sommelier and the winemaker, which is a "cross-border interaction" between the production end and the consumer side.
With the development of the wine industry, winemakers are often given more responsibilities, there are many opportunities to communicate with consumers, how to calmly go to the forefront of the market, which is an urgent problem for Chinese winemakers to think about at present. The event invited Li Xiaomi, a member of the Teaching Committee of the CAFA Wine & Spirits Academy in France and a French national sommelier, to bring a topic sharing of "Sommelier Service and Table Wine Pairing" to the winemakers in Jieshishan Appellation.
Qinhuangdao Jieshishan appellation is famous for its red wine, is a famous dry red wine town, but with the diversification of the industry in recent years, there have also been many excellent quality white wines, Chardonnay, Vioni, little white rose, Aranel, Husan and other white grape varieties in the local performance, great terroir potential. Wang Huanxiang, an expert of the China Wine Technical Committee and the former chief engineer of China Great Wall Wine Co., Ltd., was specially invited to give a lecture and discuss the brewing process of dry white wine with the winemakers of Jieshishan Region.
